The department of Botany, MAWCST was established in the year 2016 and is one of the leading department in field of teaching and research in plant sciences. The department deals with teaching in various fields like Phycology, Mycology, Taxonomy, Genetics, etc. The department has implemented the choice based credit system for B.Sc students from the year 2019 which offers flexibility in the structuring and assessment of courses.
